New science fiction magazine - in one week

On March 1, Phoenix Pick is launching a new science fiction magazine: Galaxy's Edge

A new issue of Galaxy's Edge will be published every two months, and will include new stories, great reprints, a serialization, commentary, and book reviews.

The first issue includes new stories by Lou J. Berger, Nick DiChario, Robert T. Jeschonek, Stephen Leigh, and Alex Shvartsman. The reprints, including a Hugo winner, are by Kij Johnson, James Patrick Kelly, Jack McDevitt, and Robert J. Sawyer. The first novel being serialized is Dark Universe by Daniel F. Galouye, a Hugo finalist that lost to Stranger in a Strange Land.

Mike Resnick is the magazine's editor, Horace Cocroft and Barry Malzberg each have a column, and Paul Cook is doing the reviews.

The website for the magazine is www.galaxysedge.com; links go live on March 1.
